Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Margaret (Babe) Bolton.
On the 30th of April 2026, Richard passed away peacefully at University Hospital Galway, surrounded by his loving family.
Beloved husband of Margaret. Will be sadly missed by his wife, daughter Johanna, son Ronan, daughter-in-law Line, grandsons Oskar and Louie, brothers Tony, John, Oliver, Brian, Eamonn, Eugene and Pat, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in The Holy Family Funeral Home Mervue (H91 FH52), on Sunday the 3rd of May from 6pm. Removal at 7:30pm to St. Patrick’s Church Forster Street (H91 FP84).
Richard’s Requiem Mass will take place on Monday the 4th of May at 12 noon.
Funeral afterwards to Renville Cemetery Oranmore.
