Castletown, Leixlip, Co. Kildare and formerly of Kilfree Junction, Gurteen, Co. Sligo – passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on November 8th 2025.
Predeceased by his parents Joe, Mary, brother Josie, and nephew Enda.
Beloved husband of Mary (née Costello) and much-loved father of Michelle (Ceallaigh), Elaine (Bourke), Karen (Keane) and Damien. Sadly missed by his loving wife and family, brothers Matty (USA), Pat and Seán, sister Freda Connaughton (Lanesborough), sons-in-law Padraig, Geoffrey and Martin, grandchildren Pearse, Calbhach, Éblana, Conán, Caolán, Charlotte, Matthew, Amelia and Daniel, brother in-law, sisters in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at the family home at 116 Castletown, Leixlip, Co. Kildare (W23Y3E7) on Monday, November 10th from 5.00pm to 7.00pm.
Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11.00am on Tuesday, November 11th in the Church of Our Lady’s Nativity, Leixlip, Co. Kildare, followed by removal to Gurteen, Co.Sligo for burial in Gurteen cemetery at 3.30pm.
