Paul Forde

Fiddane, Kilkerrin, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway – completed life’s journey peacefully, in the tender loving care of the staff of Roscommon Hospice, surrounded by his loving family on June 5th 2026, in his 81st year.

Predeceased by his wife Mary, mother Nellie, James, Mary and Jack Higgins.

Forever loved and very sadly missed by his sons Alan and Trevor, daughters in law Anne and Marie, grandchildren Jessica, Katie and Emily, Christopher & Daniel Casserly, great-granddaughter Hope, cousins , extended family, neighbours and his many friends.

May Paul’s Gentle soul Rest In Peace.

Reposing at Kilkerrin Community Centre, (H53K7F98th ) on Sunday, June 7th from 6pm to 8pm.

Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, 8th June in St. Josephs Church, Kilkerrin (H53 Y326) at 12 noon, followed by burial in Kilkerrin cemetery.

Mass will be live streamed on Coneran Funeral Directors facebook page and listened to on local radio 106.6FM.

Deepest sympathy to the Forde family on the sad passing of Paul. I first met Paul at a Michael Commins concert in Bundoran. He introduced me to Patsy Brown Midwest radio I took him to Ennis to a Big Tom dance. I will always remember The Winding River Shevin. He loved his country music.
