Sincere sympathy to Paul’s family and friends on his sad passing. We were privileged that he stayed with us a few times while walking the Western Way. A joy to have in our home and some great conversations.
May the Light of Heaven shine brightly on his lovely soul and may he rest in eternal peace.

Wife who smashed Television gets jail. Hearing my own voice read this aloud was the epiphany that opened the door to awareness of the power of modern poetry. I couldn’t understand why I laughed uncontrollably. Such was your power of satire and comedy. I followed your pillar of fire and was finally glad to meet you not once but twice. A humble warm non assuming but thoroughly engaging being . You shall be remembered wherever dawn ,sunrise ,beauty and Ireland are spoken in any seamless string of retheric. Go rest in Peace Paul and entertain the angels.

A startingly innovative poet whose words weaved his native Mayo and his adopted Dublin into a beautiful basket of multicoloured fragrant layers. Heaven will be brighter. Ar Dheis De go raibh a hanam

Thanks for your verse and your quirky way Paul. I especially enjoyed your contributions to the Pat Kenny show over the years and possibly most of all your wonderful imaginings of an aged and indignant Dev lookin out the window of the Aras horrified at the sight of an utterly changed ireland. Rest in peace paul and May your sweet music roll on
