Drum, Clogher, Belmullet, Co. Mayo – peacefully, at Mayo University Hospital, Castlebar surrounded by his family on 26th December 2025.
Predeceased by his parents George and Anne Wilson and his sister Mary Hunt.
Beloved brother of Bridie, George, William, Frank and Ann. He will be sadly missed by his loving family, sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews Aishling, David, Laura, Isabel, Conor, Daniel, Bailey, Shannon, Mandy and Jamie, grandniece and grandnephews Georgia Rose, Oliver and Bradley, aunts Agnes (Cartron, Clogher, Belmullet) and Helen (Melbourne, Australia), uncle Michael (Melbourne, Australia), sisters in law, brothers in law, relatives, kind neighbours and many friends.

Packie’s remains will lie in repose at McDonnell’s Funeral Home, Belmullet on Tuesday evening, from 5 o’clock until 6.30 with funeral arriving at St. Joseph’s Church, Binghamstown at 8 o’clock.
Funeral Mass on Wednesday morning at 11 o’clock with the funeral proceeding to the Lakelands Crematorium, Dublin Road, Cavan, H12 RF78 for arrival at 4pm followed by committal service at 4.30pm.
Live-streaming of the Funeral Mass will be available for viewing on Wednesday morning at 11 o’clock on McDonnell Funeral Directors Facebook page with all other funeral services available for viewing on Wednesday evening at 5 o’clock.
