Patrick (Pat) Dunleavy

Coolnafarna, Ballyhaunis, Co. Mayo and formerly of Cloonelt, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon – passed away peacefully at Mayo University Hospital, Castlebar on November 4th, 2025.

He was predeceased by his parents Patrick and Margaret; his wife Margaret (Mags); brother Tommie; nephew Declan; sister-in-law Mary (Popsey); and brother-in-law Frank.

Pat will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his partner Jean; brothers Jim (Ballintubber) and Joe (Cloonbonniffe), and sister Mary Mulligan (Castlerea).

He is also fondly remembered by his nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family, neighbours, and many friends.

May He Rest In Peace

Reposing at McDonagh’s Funeral Home, Castlerea (F45 V2Y4) on Thursday evening from 6 o’clock until 8 o’clock with removal at 8:15pm to St. Brigid’s Church, Cloonbonniffe arriving at 8.50pm approx.

Funeral Mass on Friday at 12 noon with interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Castlerea.
