Harold’s Cross, Dublin and late of Bangor-Erris, Co. Mayo (January 14th 2026) – peacefully at St. James’s Hospital.

He will be very sadly missed by his cousins, relatives and many friends in Mayo, Dublin and beyond.

Predeceased by his parents Edward and Mary and brother Eamonn.

Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, 54 Aungier St., Dublin 2 on Saturday, 17th January 2026 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.

Removal from Daly’s Funeral Home, Bangor-Erris, Ballina, Co. Mayo on Sunday morning, 18th January to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Bangor-Erris (F26 P529) arriving for 11.30 a.m. Mass, followed by burial in Bangor-Erris cemetery.

So sorry to hear that my old friend Paddy has passed away. A thoughtful and intelligent man with a quirky view of the world…..I could talk to him for hours. We swapped books and comics when we were young…..often walking from Gortmore to Bangor to get the latest edition of The Beano! Paddy had an interesting and full life. May he rest in peace.
