Sincere sympathy to Pauline and family on the death of Patrick. As a family we spent many a Sunday visiting his family home, playing football out the back and leaving with lots of sweets. May his soul rest in peace.

Deepest condolences to you Pauline, Tiernan, Claudine Laura, Edel, Zandra, his grandchildren and great grandchildren. I was deeply saddened to hear about Patrick’s passing. Back in our school days, he was the definition of generosity, always giving out sweets to everyone. He was the only young fella to have a car in Ballintubber, he would pack us all into his car to take us to dances. In his younger days as a postman, my mother always looked forward to his visits and the wonderful stories he would share on his route. He was held in very high esteem in our home, treated like family and never left without a BEVERAGE… You were one of a kind Patrick! Wishing you a peaceful journey to a place of eternal light and rest. 🙏🙏

When Patrick was in the national school in Ballintubber many years ago he always brought sweets into the the classroom every day and passed them around to his friends.
