Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire, England and Meadoran, Geesala, Ballina, Co. Mayo – aged 61 Years, passed away peacefully at the Royal Stoke University Hospital surrounded by his loving family on 1st November 2025.
Preceded by his father Frank and his brother Francis.
Beloved husband of Maria, dear father of Sean, Breedge and Kelly, grandfather to his cherished grandchild Lochlan, adored son to Mary Lilly and dear brother to Mary, Sheila, Breedge and John Francis. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his heartbroken family, daughter in law Alicia, Breedge and Kelly’s partners Pat and Iain, brother in laws John Munnelly (Geesala) and Patrick McDonagh (Geesala), his sister Breedge’s partner Owen, sister in law Mary, uncle Jimmy, aunt Barbara, uncle in law Peter, nieces, nephews, grandnephews, cousins, relatives, kind neighbours and many friends.

Patrick’s remains will lie in repose at McDonnell’s Funeral Home, Belmullet on Thursday, 20th November from 5 o’clock until 7 o’clock with funeral arriving at St. Colmcille’s Church, Geesala at 8.30.
Funeral Mass on Friday, 21st November at 12 noon followed by burial in Geesala cemetery.
