Pat and myself transferred to Belmullet Garda Station on the same day, 21st of June, 1979 where I had the honour to serve with him for many years afterwards. Pat was a man of the highest integrity, always thoughtful, kind and caring. I know of so much of the help and advice Pat gave to so many people in difficulty, privately and confidentially. He was held in the highest esteem by both his colleagues in An Garda Siochana and in the community in Erris whom he served so diligently.. Rest in Peace, Pat, your work is well done.

Rest easy Pat. Good memories of your time in Belmullet, you were a friend to everyone. Condolences to your family.
