Paddy died peacefully on 24 April 2026 in hospital after a short illness, aged 90.
A proud Mayo man, Paddy visited regularly and was closely connected to his roots throughout his life.
Predeceased by his wife Tessie (nee Murphy), sons Mick and Jim, his parents Peter and Katie (nee Hastings), his siblings Mary, John Joe, James, Annie, Frank, Catherine, Martin and Nora.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his children Cathy, Peter, Nora, his grandchildren Michael, Shaun, James, Honor and Jacob and his daughters-in-law Debi and Diane and his beloved twin brother Peter of Clinton, Mass, US. Also, by his nephews, nieces, cousins, extended Joyce and Murphy families and a wide circle of friends.

Paddy will repose in Navin’s Funeral Home, Westport this Friday evening from 5 o’clock with removal at 6 o’clock to St. Mary’s Church, Westport.
Requiem Mass on Saturday morning at 10.30am with burial afterwards in Aughavale cemetery.
