Norah Ann Brennan nee O’Malley

NORA-ANN-BRENNAN

Ruane, Ballygar, Co. Galway and formerly of Furmoyle, Louisburgh, Co. Mayo and Leeds, U.K. (March 14th 2025) – peacefully at University Hospital Galway, surrounded by her loving family and previously in the exceptional care of the staff of An Teaghlach Uilinn, Moycullen.

Predeceased by her loving husband Martin (formerly Midfield, Swinford) and her son-in-law Eddie O’Malley.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by her son Martin (Norwich), daughter Noreen O’Malley (Pennsylvania), daughter-in-law Chris, grandchildren Jenny, E.J. and Anna, great-grandchildren Connor, Lily and Grace, nephews, nieces, the extended O’Malley & Brennan families and a wide circle of friends.

Norah will rest in repose at Sweeney’s Funeral Home, Louisburgh on Friday (March 21st) from 12 noon, removal at 12.30pm to the Church of the Holy Family, Killeen for 1:00pm Mass of Christian Burial, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only. Donations in lieu if desired to Sage Advocacy @ www.sageadvocacy.ie or c/o Sweeney Funeral Directors, Louisburgh.

Condolences to all her family and friends When I read this death notice I felt I had to know Norah Ann as I grew up in Furmoyle but I could not place her. it took a while for me to realize she had grown up in the same house as me but before my time there. May her gentle soul Rest In Peace
