Monica Walsh (known as Mona) née Diskin

Formerly of Knock, Milltown, Tuam, Co. Galway – passed away peacefully at her home in Staines, England, on the 5th of December, aged 91 years.

She passed away surrounded by her devoted husband John, her beloved children Jacquie and Michael, and her cherished grandchildren Ciara, Sophie, Kieran, and Nicky.

Mona will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all her family, including her brother Bernie Diskin, her sister Mary Roy, her nieces and nephews, and her wide circle of extended family and friends.

Funeral Mass is on Thursday morning 8th January 2026 at 10 o’clock in Our Lady of the Rosary, Staines TW18 2BD proceeding to South West Middlesex Crematorium, Feltham TW13 5JH at 11.40am for cremation.

Fond memories of herself and Mary visiting us and their Granny on their trips home from England … the best china would be taken out for the visitors and the best chicken cooked and served with homemade brown bread and apple tart….prepared by Margaret .
