Rossanrubble, Newport, Co Mayo – peacefully, surrounded by his loving family in the excellent care of the staff of Mayo University Hospital on 5th July 2025.
Predeceased by his parents Tom and Margaret, brothers Frank, Johnny and Paddy and sister Margaret.
Mick will be deeply missed by his wife Ann, children Susie (Tom), Michael (Mandie), Mags (Steve) his six adored grandchildren Katie, Mickey, Phil, Ellie, Megan & Josh, his great grandchildren, his sisters Mary & Patricia, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, and his wide circle of friends.

Mick will repose at St. Dominick’s Funeral Home, Newport, (F28 H682) on Sunday, 6th July from 5.00pm until 7.00pm.
Removal from his residence on Monday morning, 7th July at 11.15 am for Requiem Mass at 12 in St. Patrick’s Church, Newport .
Mick will be laid to rest afterwards in Kilbride cemetery.
