Michael Patrick Lydon

Old Dalgan Park, Shrule, Co. Mayo and formerly London – Peacefully at University Hospital Galway after a short illness in his 86th year.

Predeceased by his parents Michael and Bridget Lydon and his sister Maureen Compton.

Dearly loved and sadly missed by his devoted wife Mary, sons Mark (Clare) and Richard, daughter-in-law Bernie, grandchildren Stephen, David, Luke and Kevin and his brother John.

May His Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.

Reposing at Cradock’s Funeral Home, Shrule (H91RF1C) on Sunday August 17th from 5pm to 7pm. Removal afterwards to St. Joseph’s Church, Shrule.

Requiem Mass on Monday August 18th at 12 noon in St. Joseph’s Church, Shrule with burial afterwards in Shrule Cemetery.

The funeral mass will be live streamed on http://shruleglencorrib.com/webcam/ and will also be broadcast on local radio on 101.4 FM.

The family extends their deepest gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff of University Hospital Galway and especially those on the Shannon Ward for their kindness and compassion during Michael’s time with them.
