(Retired Garda Síochána) peacefully at home in the loving care of his heartbroken family. Predeceased by his parents, Mary and John, brothers John Francis, Tom and Joseph. Lovingly remembered by his wife Ethna, Children Caroline, Philip, Niamh, Michael and Mary, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, Tom, Vicky, Aaron, Áine and Shane, his adored grandchildren Ronan, Cormac, Emma, Sarah, Anna, Alice, Dara, Fíonnán, Katie, Brona, James, Roísín and Donnacha. Brothers and sisters, Seamus, Dympna, Peter and Clair, his aunt Sr. Assumption (Neary) John of God Community Australia, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, former Garda colleagues, kind neighbours and many friends. “May Michael Rest in Peace“ Reposing at the Perry Funeral Home, Ballymote (F56 TK20) on Sunday, 2nd November from 5 pm to 7 pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Monday at 12 Noon in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ballymote. Burial afterwards in Bunnacrannagh Cemetery, Curry, Co.Sligo.
