Shanafarahan, Finney, Clonbur, Co. Galway – in his 88th year, peacefully in M.U.H. surrounded by his loving family on November 27th, 2025.

Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Catherine, infant sister Margaret, sisters Betty (USA), Maureen (USA), Kathleen (Ferrybridge) and brother John (USA).

Survived by his loving family, sisters Christina Kearns (Derrinkee, Westport) and Sally Hill (California, USA), nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours, friends and the wonderful staff and residents in the Ross suite, Sacred Heart Hospital, Castlebar.

Reposing in Burkeā€™s Funeral Home, Clonbur on Sunday from 1pm with removal at 3pm to The Church of The Immaculate Conception, Finney.

Funeral Mass for Michael (Mikie) on Monday morning at 11am with burial afterwards in Rosshill Cemetery, Clonbur.

Family flowers only by request, donations in lieu to Galway Mountain Rescue.
