15 Church Road, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon and formerly of Warwickshire, England and Fairymount, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon – peacefully, at Galway University Hospital on 13th November 2025.
Predeceased by his wife Margaret, brother Frank, sister Kathleen and daughter-in-law Abigail.
Mick will be sadly missed by his sons Michael and Darren, daughter Georgina, grandchildren Amelie and Jimmy, brothers Christy, John and Tommy, sister Josephine, partner Lizzie, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Gaynor’s Funeral Home, The Square, Castlerea (F45 HH24) on Wednesday (19th Nov) from 5pm to 7pm followed by Prayers and reception into St. Patrick’s Church, Castlerea – arriving for 7.15pm (approx).
Requiem Mass on Thursday (20th Nov) at 11am, after which Mick will be laid to rest in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Castlerea.
The Funeral Mass will be live streamed on Gaynor Funeral Directors’ Facebook page.
