Michael (Mick) Reynolds

Fallowfield, Manchester and formerly of Ballaghaderreen, County Roscommon and Tuam, County Galway, aged 90 years – peacefully in hospital on 15th April 2026, whilst Fortified By The Rites Of Holy Mother Church.

R.I.P.

The dearly loved brother of Mona, brother-in-law of Larry, dear uncle of David and Cloda and great uncle of Cloda and Clare.

Also a dear cousin and a great friend to many.

He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.

Mick was a member of the Galway GAA Football team in the 1960’s that won 3 All Ireland Football Finals in a row.

Requiem Mass to take place at St. Kentigern’s R.C. Church Hart Road, Fallowfield, Manchester, M14 7DW on Wednesday, 6th May at 11.00 a.m. followed by committal at The Manchester Crematorium.

Farewell to a true gentleman (except when he was beating Kerry!). He was friend since 1984, always pleasant company So sorry not to be able to attend his funeral I have remembered him at Mass and will continue to do so.
Mick no way pretentious loved his association with that great Galway team of the 60s and proud of his association with Lancashire and Tuam Stars. Eireanach den scoth May he rest in peace.

My condolences to Mick’s family and friends on the loss of a gentleman. Thanks to Mick “Sam Maguire” visited Monasteraden for the first and only time in the mid 1960’s and it was as exciting as the carnivals at the time, I had the pleasure and honor of meeting him since then and enjoyed his company. To Mona ,Larry, the Freynes, Phillipses, O’Connells, extended families nd friends, we were so sorry to hear of Micks death, may the Lord gave mercy on his soul.
