Ballinagan, Kilchreest, Loughrea, Co. Galway and formerly of St. Patrick’s Street, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon and Douglas, Isle of Man – 22nd May 2026, peacefully and with great courage, surrounded by his family in the care of nurses in Portiuncla Hospital, Ballinasloe and previously St. Brendan’s Nursing Home, Loughrea.
Predeceased by his father and mother, Martin and Molly Moore, his brothers and sister, Sonny Moore, Father John Joe Moore, Father Bertie Moore and Sister Mary Magdalene Moore.
Mick will be sadly missed by his wife Mary Frances, his daughter Marian, his son Michael, his two grandsons, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Mick will lie in repose at Kilboy’s Funeral Home, Loughrea (H62 KF63) on Monday evening from 5pm – 7pm, followed by Prayers and reception into the Church of the Nativity, Kilchreest.
Mass of the Resurrection at 12 noon on Tuesday with burial afterwards in Kilcreest cemetery.
The Funeral Mass will be live-streamed on the Kilcreest Church webcam.
