Lettera, Headford, Co. Galway – 24^th September 2026, peacefully at Claremount Nursing Home, Claremorris, surrounded by his loving family.

Pre-deceased by his beloved wife Claire (nee Monaghan), parents Jimmy and Mary, and his brother Martin.

Michael will be deeply missed by his family, sons Conor, Bryan and Kevin, daughter Emer Dunne, daughters-in-law Danielle and Linda, son-in-law Fergal, grandchildren Jamie, Cillian, Leah, Robyn, Kate, Ronan, Lauren and Ella, brothers Des and Tom, sisters May, Fran and Teresa, extended family members Roger Carroll, Rosaleen Carey, Gabriel Monaghan and Teasy Monaghan, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May Michael’s Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Carey’s Funeral Home, Claran Road, Headford (H91 E6X9) on Saturday, 26^th September from 6pm until 8pm.

Removal from his home on Sunday, 27^th September to arrive at St. Mary’s Church Headford for Requiem Mass at 3pm.

Burial afterwards in Killursa Cemetery.

The family would like to thank everyone who looked after Michael so well, Phil Lyons (RIP), Tino and the wonderful staff at Claremount Nursing Home.
