Absolutely loved working when Maureen was on duty. I used to call her “roadrunner”. She always listened to us at ward level, always supported us in any way she could in tough times. Devastated for her family and friends. May she rest easy now.

It is hard to find words to say or write on Maureen’s passing. A beautiful person , so full of life and energy has been taken from us…An illness, which she bravely bore stayed strong and positive to the finish…I seen her in July and despite the setback, She was smiling and her usual self despite the restrictions that her illness bore on her…My first Cousin, I can and always remember her as a happy child, so full of energy and fun , good natured to a tee and as an adult, still reflecting those values as well being helpful to everyone and in her profession, a brilliant nurse…
Maureen came home to Kilgeever, where her heart truly was and is…
Now, she is in the care of angels and where there is no more pain, or suffering, Maureen will be at home there, at peace, Eternal peace, in God’s care…
