Cloontowart, Lisacul, Castlerea and formerly of Croghan, Co. Roscommon (February 13th, 2025) – peacefully, with her family by her side in the wonderful care of the nurses and staff at The Roscommon Hospice.
Predeceased by her husband, Frank and her sisters Sr. Helena and Bernadette.
Maureen will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her daughters Fidelma and Maria, sons Sean, Ronan and Declan, grandchildren Ross, Anna and Florence, brother Jackie, sons-in-law Eamonn and Jack, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.
May She Rest in Peace.
Maureen will repose in The Sharkey Funeral Home, Loughglynn on Sunday from 4pm until 6pm.
Removal from the funeral home on Monday at 10.30am to Christ the King Church, Liscaul, arriving for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am, followed by interment in Lisacul cemetery.
House private and family flowers only, please. Donations in Maureen’s memory can be made to The Mayo/Roscommon Hospice Palliative Care Services.
