Maureen Cunningham (née Duffy)

Melbourne, Australia and formerly of Crowhill, Cloontia, Ballymote, Co. Sligo – May 7th, 2025- peacefully with her family by her side.

Predeceased by her husband Willie, parents Bernie and Kathleen, brothers Edward and John and her sisters Mary and Margaret.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by her sons Henry, Michael and John, her daughter Margaret, grandchildren, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, great-grandnieces, great-grandnephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

May She Rest in Peace.

Maureen’s funeral will take place in Melbourne.

A Memorial Mass will take place in St. Colman’s Church, Derrinacartha at a later date.

So very saddened to hear of Maureens death. Such great memories of looking out the window from our grandmothers house in Islandmore, seeing directly to Duffys house in Crowhill. Fond memories of walking together to Cloontia school.
