Maura Henry (née Deasy)

Have just heard this sad news. Maura was a really lovely person with a great smile and always a pleasure to meet when we were home in Foxford. Our memories go back to childhood when we went to her for those beautiful apples, they were the best apples ever! Our late father (Mike) was a great friend of Johnny’s. We still have fantastic memories of summer outings in his car.
May Maura and Johnny rest in peace.

Maura, a gentle soul has gone to rest. We were blessed to have her in our lives from her early years in Cullin and later in Foxford, we will treasure the memories. I thought she had the best job ever behind that that big counter in O’Hara’s Coolegrane. Sincere sympathy to all her family.

Sincere sympathy to Denis, Sr Teresa, Deacy and Henry families. I was very sorry to hear of my Godmother Maura’s death. On my first journey in life she carried me from my home to Callow Church to be baptised, and I’m so sad that I can’t be with Maura on her last journey.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. She was such a good person in life, I’m sure she will rest in peace in Heaven.

Maura was a very kind person a woman of deep faith faithful to prayer the mass and a good neighbour. Wherever you met Maura she would light up your day with a smile she loved to talk and indeed have a good laugh. Every christmas Maura sent me a card with a book of stamps, she continued to have a deep love for her native village Cullin and Killasser parish and was part of the weekly collection counter along with the late Lily Thornton. God reward them both. Maura loved to work on the farm and in the bog in her young life. Maura worked in O’Haras stores in Coolegrane. The lord is my shepherd there is nothing I shall want.

Condolences to the family of the late Maura Henry, her sister Sr from Cullen and station road. I have fond memories of Maura walking to mass every morning without fail no matter what. She devoted herself to our divine lord and our blessed lady. To her sister Sr Theresa and Denis. May her soul rest in peace

Maura and Miceal were neighbours of my Dad, Michael Foley, Coolcastle, and I have happy memories of visiting them as a child especially the homemade bread and jam. May their souls rest in peace.

Henry family, please accept my sincere condolences on the death of Maura. Maura was a very kind and beautiful person. I have very happy memories of Maura during my years in Foxford. Mass daily in the church. Every Christmas I received her Christmas card and stamps. Maura had a generous heart. I have no doubt, Maura is with the Lord, the Lord she loved and served so well here.
