16 Seaside, Belmullet, Co. Mayo and formerly of Knockshambo, Ballyglass, Belmullet and Manchester, England – peacefully, at her residence surrounded by her loving family on 8th May 2026.
Predeceased by her beloved son Sean and parents Jack and Bridget Barrett.
Beloved wife of John, cherished mother of Mark, Fiona and Geraldine and adored grandmother to Caden, Amarie and Liam. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her loving family, sisters Angela and Linda, brothers Seán, Kevin and Des, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, relatives, kind neighbours and many friends.

Mary will lie in repose at McDonnell’s Funeral Home, Belmullet on Monday evening from 5 o’clock until 7 o’clock. Remains will arrive at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Belmullet on Tuesday for Funeral Mass at 12 noon followed by burial in Emlybeg cemetery.
