Loughloon, Westport and formerly of Falduff, Louisburgh – gracefully at home, surrounded by her loving family on 19th October 2025.
Predeceased by her son Ronan, her parents Eddie & Katie Carty, her brother John Carty and sister-in-law Maureen Griffen.
Sadly missed and remembered with love by her husband Peadar, children Jacinta Vahey (Liam) Clair, Sinead Knox (Kevin), Edel Stoner (Sam) and Aidan (Nicola), her 9 grandchildren Katie & Ryan Vahey, Maisie & Kyra Knox, Olivia & Jack Stoner, Eva, Shay & Jake O’Connor, her sister Breege Sheridan (Sean) and her brother Liam Carty, nieces, nephews, extended family, a wide circle of friends and neighbours.
A limb has fallen from the family tree. I keep hearing a voice that says ‘Grieve not for me’. Remember the best times, the laughter, the song. The good life I lived while I was strong.’
Reposing at her home in Loughloon (F28XP70) on Tuesday, 21st October from 2pm until 6pm.
Funeral arriving to St. Mary’s Church, Westport at 11am on Wednesday, 22nd October for Requiem Mass at 11:30am.
Burial afterwards in Aughavale Cemetery.
