We were all so terrible sorry to have learned of the death of Mary (May) Raftery.
May Raftery was a wonderful lady all of her life, May was a firstclass woman, smart intelligence hard working, she could turn her hand to anything, and that she did, she managed the family farm business after her husband passed away, a wonderful farmer May was. Lived for her amazing family, whome May was so proud of. I have wonderful memories of May back in my younger years, when May visited her Aunt Margaret Nevin in Crossboyne, along with her Brothers.
May was a beautiful and much gifted person back then.
May Raftery was an inspirational lady in every way.
We send our sincere and heartfelt sympathy to all of May’s family on the death of their much loved and cherished mother.
To her Son’s, Daughter’s, Grandchildren, great grandchildren, sisters, daughters in law’s Sons in law’s nieces nephews neighbours, friends and to all of the extended Raftery and Kevneen family on the death of dear May.
May her kind and gentle soul rest in heavenly peace, where May will now be reunited with all of her loved one’s who have gone before May. Amen 🙏 🙏
I am frightfully sorry that I will now be able to attend May’s funeral service or funeral Mass. Since I am out of Ireland.
