Mary Lavelle née Reilly (Pat Thomás)
Glosh, Blacksod, Belmullet, Co. Mayo – peacefully in the loving care of the Staff of the Green Park Nursing Home, Tuam, Co. Galway surrounded by her loving family on 2nd February 2025.
Predeceased by her parents Pat and Catherine Reilly and her brothers John and Paddy.
Beloved wife of William, dear mother of Philip (Aughleam), Declan (Glosh), Lorraine (Tuam) and Catriona (Corofin) and cherished grandmother to Jamie, Rachel, Declan and Dessie. Mary will be sadly missed by her husband, children, grandchildren, daughters in law Bridie and Ann Marie, son in law Paul, sister Bridget Corduff (Congo Road, Surge View), sister in law Lyn Reilly, nieces Connie Gormley and her husband Paul and Majella Doherty and her husband Edwin, grandnieces Ruth and Éabha, grandnephews Seán and Ryan, nieces, nephews, relatives neighbours and friends.

Remains reposing at McDonnell’s Funeral Home, Belmullet on Tuesday evening from 5 o’clock until 7 o’clock. Funeral will arrive at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Aughleam on Wednesday afternoon for Funeral Mass at 12.30 followed by burial in Faulmore Cemetery.
