St. Michael’s Close, Blackburn, England and late of Slievemore, Cloontia, Ballymote, Co. Sligo – January 13th, 2026 – peacefully in hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her husband John, sons Sean and Danny her sister Bridget and parents Tom Jack Finn and Mary Phillips.
She will be so sadly missed and fondly remembered by her daughter Caroline and son Tom, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, 12 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and many friends.

Mary Kate will lie in repose in The Kilgarriff Funeral Home, Ballaghaderreen on Friday evening from 6 o’clock to conclude with evening prayer at 7.30.
Funeral will arrive at the Church of Ss. John the Baptist & Colman, Derrinacartha on Saturday for Mass of the Resurrection at 1pm.
Burial afterwards in Carracastle Cemetery.
