Mary was a no nonsense, straight talking, quick witted lady with a heart of gold. From calling to sprinkle holy water on the foundations of a new family home to a random chat about rhubarb and soon afterwards a personal delivery of a beautiful rhubarb crumble, her kindness will never be forgotten by us.

Mary, we will miss seeing you marching on the Knockbrack Road and we will always remember you.

We are shocked & saddened to hear of Mary’s passing. She has been a lifetime friend of Mam’s & thankfully they were in touch by phone only a few weeks ago & had a long chat. She was a welcome visitor to our house, a real lady, always in good form & up for a chat. I will miss the annual mince pies at Christmas time.
