Mary Flanagan

Foughill, Trien, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon – December 31st, 2025 – peacefully after a long illness bravely borne at Portiuncula Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her parents, Tom and Kathleen.

Mary will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her siblings: Anne Taaffe (Ballintogher), Mick (Mullingar), Gerry (Foughill) and Margaret Lynn (Ballymahon). Her nieces and nephews: Aoife, Damien, Ciara, Dónal, Gavin, Eála, Paul, Edel, Aisling, Conor, Niall and Áine. Also, by her brothers-in-law, Joe and Ben; her sisters-in-law, Sheila and Gerette; her grandnieces and grandnephews; her cousins; her extended family; her neighbours; and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at McDonagh’s Funeral Home, Castlerea (F45 V2Y4) on Friday evening January 2nd from 4.30 until 7.30.

Funeral arriving at St. Caolin’s Church, Trien on Saturday for Mass of the Resurrection at 12 noon followed by burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Castlerea.

House Private on Saturday Morning please.
