I’ve just learned of Ms McDonaghs passing. I’m so sorry to hear of it. She was my Maths teacher in St Joseph’s and I remember her as being kind, gentle, patient and an excellent teacher. Sending Love to those who loved her at this difficult time. May She rest now in eternal peace x

Have been deeply saddened by the news of Mary’s death. Mary was one of the kindest and most caring persons I’ve ever encountered. Her generosity knew no bounds. I had the privilege of having little Michael her adored son in my Montessori School many years ago. He was absolutely loved and cherished by his mam and late dad Michael senior. He should feel so proud to be their son.

Ms McDonagh transformed my life. She nurtured a love of order, perfectionism, logic and method in me. I had been terrible at maths until she became my teacher. What a privilege it was to have nursed my former teacher. We crossed paths more than once during her illness. She fought so hard. She battled with such grace. No matter what was thrown at her she faced it with a smile on her face.
