Heathfield, Castleplunkett, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon and formerly of Carrowcrin, Kilrooskey, Roscommon – peacefully – December 1st 2025 after a short illness.
Predeceased by her parents May & Harry Hughes.
Mary will be sadly missed by her loving husband Louis, adored children Kevin, Deirdre, Gráinne and Mark, daughters in law Keeva and Rebecca, sons in law Evan and Seán Óg, sisters Margaret (Carrowcrin) and Helen (Lecarrow), brothers Michael (Kilteevan) and Henry (Carrowcrin), uncle Phonsie O’Connor (Boyle), brothers-in-law, sisters- in-law, relatives, neighbours and the many great friends she met through life and work.
Beloved Nana to Abi, Aidan, Evan, Erin, Cora, Cillian and Hailey.

Mary will be reposing at Flanagans Funeral Home, Castleplunkett on Thursday evening, 4th December from 4 o’clock until 7 o’clock.
Funeral Mass in Kilmurray Church at 12 noon on Friday, 5th December followed by burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Castlerea.
