London and formerly of Foxpoint, Barnatra, Ballina, Co. Mayo – peacefully at Whittington Hospital, London.
Predeceased by her parents Peter and Mary Carey, brother Pat Carey (Somerset, England), sister Kathleen Donohoe (Shraigh Hill, Bunnahowen, Belmullet) and her recently deceased brother John Carey (Foxpoint).
Beloved sister of Bridie Tighe (Ballycastle).
She will be sadly missed by her sister, sisters in law Mary (Foxpoint) and Barbara (Somerset), her lifelong friend Evelyn Farrell, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives and friends.

Mary will lie in repose at McDonnell’s Funeral Home, Belmullet on Saturday evening from 4.30 until 6 o’clock with funeral arriving at the Church of Our Lady of Lourdes, Glencastle at 7 o’clock.
Funeral Mass on Sunday at 12 noon followed by burial in Glencastle New Cemetery.
