It is with profound sadness that I learn of the passing of a former colleague and friend, Mary. It was an honour and privilege to have known her. Mary was the embodiment of kindness, grace, and humility. She had an extraordinary ability to see only the good in others, and in doing so, she enriched the lives of all who were fortunate enough to have known her. Her gentle spirit and generous heart will be deeply missed, but her legacy of goodness will live on in the lives she touched.

Deepest sympathy to Kevin, Eileen and John and rest of the carolan family. I had the honour to work with Mary at the BBC for years. We would go get our breakfast at the teabar every morning together and off down to the Bush at lunch times. We had such good times and lots of laughter in the office. Such great times.
She was always there for us and so kind and caring and truly a very special lady. Will miss her dearly. She will never be forgotten. RIP Mary. Thinking of you all at this difficult time.

My deepest condolences to Mary’s lovely family. I had the privilege of working with Mary for a few years before she retired. She was always so kind and generous and I adored her. She helped me with work and would pray for me and the health of my mum. I will miss her so much. A truly beautiful light in this world.

We have so many fond memories of Mary. She was such a sociable, friendly lady, always up for a chat and a very good friend to our parents. She will be sorely missed, sincere condolences to Kevin and all the family.

So many fond memories visiting Aunty & Mary & Uncle Kevin, particularly when we were younger with Daddy. They would be at the gate chatting with neighbours and all the family would be around them, Aunty Mary always asking after Mummy, lovely memories.
