Mary Alexander (nee Madden)

London (Harrow & Bushey) and late of Currane, Achill, Co. Mayo – passed away peacefully on 15^thApril 2025.

Predeceased by her husband Len, parents Michael and Mary, sister Annie, brothers Michael and Tom.

Mary will be sadly missed by her partner Richard, daughter Christina, son-in-law Bradley, grandchildren Alannah and Lenny, her brother Terry and his wife Mary, nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

Please join us on Tuesday, 20^th May 2025 at 7.00pm for Mass at The Sacred Heart and St. John the Evangelist RC Church, London Road, Bushey, Watford, Herts WD23 1 BA.

Reposing at Casadh an Taoile, Currane, Achill (F28 TF68), Co. Mayo on Thursday, May 22^nd from 4.30pm until 6.00pm.

Funeral Mass on Friday, May 23^rd at 11.30am at Our Lady Queen of the Universe Church, Currane followed by burial in Glencoe cemetery, Achill.

Funeral Mass will be live-streamed on Muintir a Chorran Facebook Page.

I only met Mary a few times when I was with my mum. I remember her smiles and such a happy person. We lived across the road from Mary’s sister Annie and Nick and family. Our parents were Eileen and Joe McDonnell. Happy times in Spencer Road. Such a lovely group of friends. Deepest sympathy to all the family. Rest in peace Mary.
