MARTIN-1

Castlebar, and formerly of Carracastle, Straide, Co. Mayo. Martin died peacefully in his 93rd year surrounded by his loving family on August 2nd 2025, in the wonderful care of the Sacred Heart Nursing Home, Castlebar.

Predeceased by his parents; John and Julia, his brothers; John, Paddy, Joe, Frank, his sisters; May, Kitty and Bridget. Sadly missed and remembered with love by his brother Tommy and Tommy’s wife Margaret (Chicago), sister-in-law Teresa; nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, relatives, kind neighbours and wide circle of friends.

 

May his gentle soul rest in peace.

 

Reposing in Clarke’s Funeral Home, Foxford (F26 TH27), Monday August 4th from 5.30-7pm with removal afterwards to Ss. Peter and Paul’s Church Straide (F26 FP48). Funeral Mass will take place at 12 noon on Tuesday August 5th, with burial afterwards in Straide Old Cemetery.
