Martin (Matty) Ruane

Martin-Ruane

Curry, Belcarra, Castlebar, Co. Mayo – peacefully on Monday 22nd September, 2025 in University Hospital Galway following an illness he fought with tremendous courage and dignity.

Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Delia and his brother Michael.

Sadly missed by his loving family; sisters Mary, Catherine and Josephine, brothers Padraig, Aiden, John and Ger, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, partners, nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May he rest in peace.

Martin will repose in Belcarra Community Centre on Friday (26th September) from 6.30pm with removal at 8pm to St. Anne’s Church, Belcarra.

Requiem Mass on Saturday morning at 11am followed by burial afterwards in Drum Cemetery, Clogher, Claremorris.
