Martin passed away peacefully at An Teaghlach Uilinn Nursing Home Moycullen on Monday, 13th July, 2026.
Predeceased by his loving wife Celia, his parents Pat and Mary (nèe Kane), brother Roger, and uncles Josie and Tim.
Lovingly missed and remembered by his cousins, relatives and his many wonderful friends and neighbours in Park.
Martin’s family would like to acknowledge the wonderful kindness and care shown to Martin and his family by An Teaghlach Uilinn Nursing home, they would also like to thank all who cared for Martin in University Hospital Galway, especially the Palliative care team for their support and care, also Dr.Grimes and his staff in Moycullen Family Practice.
They would also like to convey their deep appreciation to all the wonderful neighbors and friends for all their help and support.

Reposing on Tuesday 14th July, 2026 at Aiseirí Funeral Home, Moycullen, (H91 Y54A) from 5.00pm with removal at 6.30pm to the Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Killannin (H91R883).
Requiem Mass at 12 noon on Wednesday, 15th July, 2026. Followed by burial in the adjoining Cemetery.
