Martin (Marty) McDonnell

Foughanagh Beg, Ballintubber, Castlerea, County Roscommon – (died 24th March 2025) – unexpectedly at his residence.

Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Agnes.

Deeply regretted by his brother Dominic, sisters Mary (Kelly) and Sarah, sister-in-law Ethna, nieces Mary-Theresa, Eileen and Jennifer, nephews Padraic, Gerard, Shane and Tommy, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives, neighbours and a large selection of friends.

Reposing at Flanagan’s Funeral Home, Ballymoe on Friday, 28th March, 2025 from 5 o’clock until 7 o’clock followed by removal to St. Bride’s Church, Ballintubber.

Funeral Mass on Saturday, 29th March, 2025 at 12 noon followed by burial afterwards in Ballintubber Cemetery.

So sorry to hear of Marty’s sudden passing. He was a kind man and worked for many years on a Fas Scheme in the village building the lovely stone walls that are much admired. Rest in peace Marty
