Arraghan, Ballinagare, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon, Manchester and Inis Oírr, Aran Islands June 27th, 2025 –  unexpectedly but peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Salford Royal Hospital Manchester after an illness borne with great dignity and courage.

Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Mary Kate, his sisters Marcella and Christina, nephew Stephen, sister-in-law Carol and brother-in-law Stephen. He will be very sadly missed and remembered with love by his heartbroken wife Nora Teresa, his children Ann Marie, Marcella, Thomas and Bernadette, sons-in-law Tomás, Pádraig and Éanna, his adored grandchildren Morgan Joseph, Tomás, Éanna, Joseph Gerard, Seán Martin and Anna Teresa, his brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, cousins and a large circle of friends.

May He Rest In Peace

Martin will lie in repose in The Gibbons Funeral Home Ballinagare Wednesday evening from 6:30 o’c with removal at 7:45 o’c to the Church of the Sacred Heart Ballinagare for Mass at 8 o’clock

Martins funeral will then proceed on Thursday morning to Séipeal Naomh Muire, Inis Oírr, Aran Islands, Co. Galway via Plane at 3pm from Aer Arran, Inverin, Co. Galway.

Mass of the Resurrection Friday afternoon at 12:30 with burial afterwards in Tempall Chaomhain.
