Muing, Belmullet, Co. Mayo – peacefully at the Galway University Hospital on 25th December 2025.
Predeceased by his wife Shirley, parents Peter and Mary and his brothers and sisters.
Beloved father of Martin and dear grandfather of Holly and Keelyn.
He will be sadly missed by his family, brother Bertie, sisters Una and May, Holly’s Mum Inga and her husband Agrius and their boys, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.
May His Kind and Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.
Martin will lie in repose at McDonnell’s Funeral Home, Belmullet on Sunday evening from 3.30 until 5 o’clock with the funeral arriving at the Church of the Holy Family, Carne at 6.30.
Funeral Mass on Monday afternoon at 12.30 followed by burial in Emlybeg Cemetery.
