Woodfield, Dunmore, Co. Galway (March 8th, 2025) – peacefully but unexpectedly, surrounded by his loving family & in the wonderful care of the staff of ICU in Galway University Hospital.

Predeceased by his parents Ned & Mary Ellen & brother Sean.

Martin will be sadly missed by his loving family, wife Peggy, son Noel, daughters Karen & Anna, sister Eileen (Enniscrone), grandchildren Seán, Stephen & Emily, sons-in-law Liam & Colin, sisters-in-law Ann & Kathleen, brother-in-law Martin, nieces, nephews & his many dear friends & neighbours.

May Martin’s gentle soul Rest In Peace.

Reposing at Glynn’s Funeral Home, Dunmore, H54NY61 this Wednesday, March 12th from 6pm with removal at 8pm to his home.

Funeral Mass on Thursday at 12 noon in The Church of Christ The King, Kiltevna, H54WD82 with burial afterwards in Kiltevna cemetery.

I was saddened to hear of Martins passing.
I had great times with him when we worked together in Cara cabs and Claddagh cabs in Galway and he was a great character and a wonderful friend.
