Kilmaglish, Knockdrin, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath and formerly of Bunadubber, The Neale, Co. Mayo – peacefully, at home surrounded by his devoted and loving family on April 18th, 2026.

Predeceased by his brothers Tommy, Paddy, John and Timothy and his sisters Bertha and Lily.

Sadly missed by his loving wife Mary, his devoted children Marie (O’Brien), Martin, Caroline (Carroll), Lorraine (O’Donnell) and John, his cherished grandchildren, Mark, Tom, Sophie, Carley, Jamie, Leah, Annie, Killian, Noah, Vinnie and Luca, sons in law Niall, Seamus and Barry, daughters in law Linda and Emilia, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May Martin’s Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

Reposing in Shaw’s Funeral Home, Bishop’s Gate Street, Mullingar, N91RY65 on Monday, April 20th from 6pm concluding with prayers at 8pm.

Funeral Mass on Tuesday, April 21st at 11am in The Church of the Assumption, Taghmon, N91XY66.

Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and carers for their wonderful care and support for Martin throughout his illness.

Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to the Irish Cancer Society.
