4 St. Kevin’s Terrace, Church Road, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon and formerly of Foughill, Trien, Castlerea and London, England – 3rd December 2026, peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff at Aras Mathair Phoil, Castlerea.

Martin is predeceased by his brother Joe, sister-in-law Mary and niece Mary. He will be sadly missed by his nephews, Michael, Tommy and Martin, nieces, Joan and Carmel (Australia), grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May He Rest In Peace.

Reposing in Gaynor’s Funeral Home, The Square, Castlerea (F45 HH24) on Monday evening from 5.30 pm to 7.00 pm, followed by Prayers and reception into St. Patrick’s Church, Castlerea.

Requiem Mass on Tuesday at 11am, followed by burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
Martin’s funeral Mass will be live-streamed on Gaynor Funeral Directors’ Facebook page.

Farewell Martin, you were a true legend in the UK.
I will always remember our chats about your time woodrow piling and tripod piling. The length and breath of the UK with men like Martin Conway
and Norris St John, amongst many more. Not forgetting QPR,
Stan Bowles, Rodney Marsh, Don Givens and the team of 1967. And on occasions a few pints in the Civil engineer beside the yard. God bless Martin.
