Martha died peacefully on 2nd November 2025 surrounded by her loving family in her home.
Predeceased by her loving son Michael, parents Bartley and Julia, brother Josie, sister Bridie and all deceased members of the Courtney and Mullins Families.
Martha will be sadly missed by her loving husband Paddy, daughter Mary, sons Padraic and Gabriel, grandchildren Machaela, Micheál, Cian and Cody, daughters-in-law Caroline and Vicky, sisters Freddie Heverin (Clonberne), Myra O’Keefe (Kilkenny) and Ita McGrath (Barnaderg), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to all who supported and cared for Martha during her illness and her final days.
A special word of thanks to the Doctors, Nurses and Staff of St Anne’s Ward and University Hospital Galway for their exceptional care and kindness.
Reposing at Clonberne Community Centre (H53 W3W2) on Tuesday, 4th November 2025 from 5pm to 7pm.
Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, 5th November 2025 at 12 midday in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Clonberne (H53 XC89) with burial afterwards in Clonberne Cemetery.
