I was one of Marina’s classmates in secondary school, and her wit, humour, and engaging conversations had a lasting effect on all of us. She always spoke with fond affection about her family, weaving their stories into every chat, which made everyone feel connected and interested. Her warmth and lively spirit created a special bond among our classmates.
Life moved on, and I had the pleasure of reconnecting with Marina again. She stopped by Doughbeg on her way to Currane and updated me on her life and her recent move. Later, we reunited in Currane, sharing a conversation brimming with laughter and cherished memories. It was wonderful to see that same joyful spirit and warmth still shining through all those years later.
