Marie Thérése (Terrie) Smyth

MARIE-SMYTH

An Coillín, Castlebar and formerly of Carrowbeg House, Lower Main Street, Swinford, Co. Mayo – who passed away peacefully in the loving care of the Nurses and staff at An Coillin, Knockaphunta, Castlebar.

Predeceased by her parents, Maisie and Michael Smyth, her brothers-in-law Michael Whelan and Connie Delapp.

Rest In Peace.

Terrie will be sadly missed by her loving family, her brother Paddy (Swinford), sisters Ann (Whelan, Greystones), Margo (Delapp, Oughterard) and Geraldine (Maloney, Foxford and France), her sister-in-law Mary, brother-in-law Paddy, nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

Terrie will repose at Rathscanlon, Swinford (F12RR97) on Thursday evening, the 3rd April from 5pm until 8pm.

Her funeral cortege will arrive at Our Lady Help of Christians Church, Swinford on Friday morning, 4th April for Requiem Mass at 12 noon prior to burial in Kilconduff Cemetery, Swinford.

We remember Terri from when we all played tennis as youngsters in Swinford.
Terrier was a lovely kind girl who was always inclusive of the younger players which was really appreciated. These were great times and have lingered in our memories over the years as a happy and carefree time.
