Margaret Mary Carthy (Margie)

Baltimore, Maryland, USA and formerly of Dalgan Road, Shrule, Co. Mayo – on Sunday August 16th 2026 in Baltimore, Maryland.

Predeceased by her parents Patrick and Julia Carthy of Dalgan Road, Shrule, Co. Mayo and her brothers Jimmy (England) and Joe (Shrule).

She will be fondly missed by her sister Nora Kalkman and family (Baltimore, Maryland, USA), Bridget and Gerry O’Loughlin and family (Cloonameeltogue), Anne McCarthy (Lourel, Maryland, USA), Daphne Carthy and family (Northampton, England), extended family members, neighbours and friends.

May Her Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.

Margaret’s remains will arrive in Shannon Airport on Monday, September 28th at 10:15am.

Removal from Shannon to St. Joseph’s Church, Shrule later that day.

Funeral Mass on Tuesday September 29th at 12 noon.

Burial afterwards in Shrule cemetery.

The Funeral Mass will be live streamed on https://www.churchtv.ie/shrule/ and will also be broadcast on local radio on 101.4 F.M.
